I actually prefer the direct number, curve, variable manipulation and number based interface as opposed to dumbed down graphical based interfaces that other radios have (Futaba, Spektrum, etc). I know it won't happen, and I understand why FrSky won't allow it, but I just wish OpenTX would run on it. The last time FrSky tried to make their own OS it was an epic buggy disaster that was abandoned after only a short time, and I do not want to be part of it again if they bail on EthOS like they did FrOS (which has not received any updates since 2019). Hence I have waited so long before I even considered trying one. I do understand that it's probably a large part of how FrSky makes their radios so affordable with more features than radios from Futaba and Spektrum and Jeti that cost 300-400% more, but idk. While I do like and appreciate that FrSky is directly communicating with customers and adding features per request, I do not like when large companies with more than enough money and resources to do R&D in-house opt for customer based beta testing. I understand that at this point EthOS is mostly stable and most people have no issues, but it's still very much a case of FrSky using their customers as beta testers, especially with upcoming major updates (Lua, etc). Well the main issue is I don't like being a beta tester with my radio equipment.
